Students have two choices when shooting this assignment.

Do not use a door or window to frame your subject. Think broadly about the term frame. Don’t use a literal frame, like a door or window— push yourself to look for something more abstract that emphasizes your subject. Perhaps a swath of sunlight creates a compelling shape on a building. Maybe you pose your subject in the one blank area of a patterned wall. Think of an interesting way to put a visual look here around your subject.
